APPOINTMENT OF 32 MEMBERS TO THE CIVIC COUNCIL OF ISLAND OF IRELAND CIVIC LIFE
Island of Ireland Civic Life is establishing a Civic Council to represent each county on the Island of Ireland that has its own Civic Life branch. 32 members of the Civic Council will be appointed and the role of the Civic Council members will be as follows –
* To assist Island of Ireland Civic Life to identify the voluntary, social, civic, charitable and not for profit organisation in their counties that wants to receive the fully free support service from Island of Ireland Civic Life.
* To identify companies in their counties that might want to become a Civic Patron so as to support the work of their local Civic Life branch and the incredible organisations in their counties and to comply with their ESG and CSCR strategy.
* To identify companies and people in their counties that might want to become a Civic Champion so as to support a particular organisation in their area that they are aligned to.
* To identify people and organisations in their counties that deserve recognition and acknowledgment in The Pride of Our Island Awards.
We know that time is precious for everyone and we will be very conscious not to take up too much time with this role for our Civic Council members. We want to ensure that we connect with as many local organisations as possible so that they can benefit from our fully free service to them and which will really benefit the work they do and their futures. Ad a Civic Council member you will have an excellent knowledge of all of the incredible organisations in your area who do amazing things for their communities and Island of Ireland Civic Life wants to foster that community spirit so that we assist these fantastic voluntary, social, civic, charitable and not for profit organisations get their message out to many more people through our platform.
