Cork will be treated to an exclusive performance on Oliver Plunkett Street this weekend
Oliver Plunkett St in Cork city will be filled with Christmas tunes and vibes this Saturday with the return of The Christmas Jingle Concert. This is the sixth year of the festive event which will take place in The Oliver Plunkett Bar this year.
This year’s concert will include a live performance on the balcony of the popular venue with The Songstress and The Loungeman bringing Christmas tunes and vibes to the area.
The charity event has proved to be hugely popular in previous years with a multitude of top singers and musicians from Cork, including Mick Flannery, taking to the stage.
All proceeds from this year’s concert will go to Enable Ireland.
Guests will be greeted with mulled wine and nibbles along with a warm welcome and plenty of popular classic Christmas tunes. The Christmas Jingle will also feature a raffle with prizes from local businesses.
Founded by The Songstress Marguerite O’Connor and Mary O Connor in 2017 to support local and national charities, Starlight Entertainment has once again organised this year’s Christmas Jingle and is delighted to work with the The Oliver Plunkett Bar management and crew.
Organiser Marguerite O’Connor said: “We hope people will join us for the Christmas Jingle 2022 for live music, raffle prizes and buckets of Christmas Cheer. We’re delighted to be back this year, with an alternative twist which will see live performances on the balcony of The Oliver Plunkett Bar. The concert is all in aid of the very worthy cause, Enable Ireland. Please help us to make this a very special Christmas for all. Grab tickets early to be sure of admission.”
Tickets start at just €10 including mulled wine or prosecco and nibbles.
